How To Work Better, And Feel Better

Do you have a desk job? Here’s why you should get up, stretch and change your position regularly.

Your body is a reflection of what you consistently do. There is a large body of evidence suggesting that repetition of action, poor posture, and being seated for long periods of time can lead to aches & and pains, headaches, fatigue, weakened core muscles.

The good news is there are some simple habits you can get into which will help reduce these risks.

Here’s 5 top tips from the WYLD Team:

1. Every 20 mins stand-up and move around, this not only avoids being seated for a long period of time but will help with back pain and tension.

2. Stretch your upper and lower body regularly – this can even be done from your seat! Or why not keep a foam roller at work for an optimal workplace release!

3. Walk around while on the phone – if you don’t need to be looking at your computer then

get up and moving!

4. Change your focus of gaze, looking into the distance and away from your computer screen

is a great way to readjust your eye focus.

5. Stay hydrated – this also gives you a reason to get up and refill your bottle!
