5 Incredible Benefits of Charcoal
If you haven’t already used or consumed charcoal into your daily routine. Do it now. It was once considered the universal antidote, nowadays it is considered to be a potent natural remedy. There is 101 amazing benefits of this fine black powder made from bone char, coconut shells, peat, petroleum coke, coal, olive pits or sawdust. And when "activated" it is processed at very high temperatures which changes its internal structure, reducing the size of its pores and increasing its surface area. This amazing black dust works by trapping toxins and chemicals in the gut, preventing their absorption. The texture has a negative electrical charge, which causes it to attract positively charged molecules, such as toxins and gases. Something to note is that charcoal is not absorbed by your body, it carries toxins bound to its surface out of your body in faeces.
The benefits are limitless but here are 5 that we at WYLD love:
#1 Relieves pain
Charcoal powder can cleanse your bloodstream, brain and digestive system by detoxifying and removing chemicals. This can improve immunity, healthy hormone production and support system functioning. All in all this can assist in reducing infection, inflammation and illness that can contribute to pain.
#2 Clears skin
Activated charcoal effectively cleanses the skin, unclogs pores, removes deeper impurities, and dead skin cells. The result is supple, smooth, and even-toned skin. Toxins, direct, heavy metals, chemicals, and other poisons are attracted to the charcoal molecules and washed away. To make a simple wash for the face or body, use the following 1 part activated charcoal powder and 1 part water.
#3 Whitens teeth
Apply a small amount of activated charcoal with or without toothpaste to the teeth. This process has proven to be the most effective solution for whitening teeth. It also absorbs toxins and pathogens which eliminates bacteria. So say goodbye to bad breath.
#4 Increases immunity
You can literally add activated charcoal to anything that tickles your fancy. And guess what? It can detoxify the brain and body, resulting in more energy, improved cognitive functioning, increased immunity, and reduced incidences of illness and disease. This is due to its ability to block the absorption of harmful and hazardous compounds into the body while simultaneously absorbing and ridding the body of dangerous elements that were already present.
