Tyan Zhu is a dedicated and results-oriented acupuncturist with many years of clinical and research experience, having worked at Shenzhen Children’s Hospital in China. He is skilled in integrating traditional Chinese acupuncture with modern anatomical knowledge and is particularly known for using the fewest possible needles to address pain. Most patients experience noticeable improvement before the end of their first treatment session. Specializing in the treatment of soft tissue injuries, sports injuries, and acute and chronic pain, Tyan focuses on treating the root cause as well as the symptoms, creating personalized treatment plans that truly improve long-term health outcomes. His passion for acupuncture grew from years of hands-on clinical practice, during which he witnessed its remarkable ability to promote recovery and improve quality of life.

After moving to New Zealand, he earned a master’s degree in acupuncture, further expanding his expertise and developing a distinctive approach that combines traditional point selection with needling techniques at muscle origin and insertion points.
