Book With Steph
  • Q: What's one simple wellness tip you swear by?

A glass of warm water every morning before starting my day.

  • Q: How do you like to de-stress after a busy day?

Talking to my partner, enjoying a nice dinner, and ending the day with a hot shower or bath.

  • Q: What is one thing you do for your mental wellness?

Keeping a diary. I write in it whenever I feel the need and always include 3 things I’m grateful for today.

  • Q: What's your favorite way to prioritize your wellness on a daily basis?

Preparing fresh, homemade meals, drinking plenty of water, and never skipping my lovely morning coffee.

  • Q: What's a book, podcast, or resource that has positively impacted your wellness journey?

Book: How to Win Friends and Influence People , Podcast: A really good cry

  • Q: What's a healthy habit you're most proud of?

Getting at least 7.5 hours of sleep most nights and sticking to a consistent bedtime and wake-up time. Sleep is a luxury, and we should prioritize it as much as possible (I am sorry to all parents!).

  • Q: What's a small change you've made recently that's improved your well-being?

No phone in the bedroom. I don’t fall asleep or wake up scrolling anymore. Instead, I read a book or eBook at night and enjoy fresh air on the terrace in the morning. Total game-changer.

  • Q: What activity makes you feel most energized and alive?

Hiking in the wilderness, a good yoga practice, and, of course, delicious food!

  • Q: What is something that makes you laugh?

Cute and funny animal videos. Every. Single. Time.

Q: What inspired you to pursue a career in wellness?

After seven years of studying healthcare, I realized that prevention is everything. Taking care of both physical and mental health before bigger problems arise is so much easier than trying to fix them later. And even if something does go wrong, it’s important to understand why it happened and how to prevent it from happening again.
